While I was at dance a couple of weeks ago, someone was talking about how the studio owner Laura Carroll always has so much energy and does every little thing with so much passion and energy. If you’re lucky enough to know Laura you will know this couldn’t be more true. She chuckled and proceeded to tell how she doesn’t have that much energy by the time she gets home because she uses every ounce of her energy throughout the day and doesn’t have much left by the end of the day. There was a little pause in the conversation and she said “thats how I think everyone should live their lives.” It took me a while to comprehend why on earth someone would want to be tired every single night but on the quiet ride home it hit me. People should do everything they do with all the energy that they are provided with and live that day that you are blessed to have to the fullest. By doing so, you should have very little energy left over by the end of the day. It’s like if someone gives you $1,440 everyday and you have to spend it all everyday because none of it tranfers over the next day. You would want to spend all of the money right? Life gives you 1,440 minutes everyday, and like the hypothetical money, it doesn’t count in the next day. So go spend all your minutes with purpose, do something meaningful! Spend all of your energy one day at a time and use every last ounce of it!
